Kansas City area for who knows how long....
AT -145
under 8 SF/Mont -104
Cle -147
TX -1.5 +108

Just put up the under SF when Cooz mentioned no Vlad and SF lineup "pathetic". Vazquez very sharp at home and Hermanson good of late. Getting unders here of late with Bonds out, and pens ok--with SF pen have embarassement from last night to overcome.

Hampton getting better of late. His walks and pitches per inning down last several starts. Batista slipping some, but still at very high level. Problem is he hasn't got over 5 innings much lately, that AZ pen will get some exposure today. Mantei usually not as good if used a second day in row, besides. AT unbeaten in Game 4s this season. Problem is everyone is on this ATL chalk today...

NYY's Weaver is 4-10 vs teams that have beat him once this season! But Yanks have confidence back and not sure about Lima, so laying off here---but thought about the over good and long.

Traber has a bad start to rebound from, and he's been super sharp at home anyway. Bell not as good on road.

Valdes been very sharp in minor rehab. Was good in his last stint off DL (beat Yanks on road). Anyone know were to find these pitcher's stats when coming off DL? I recall that Clemens, for example, has a superb record here....

taking TX on run line. Only smart thing to do if you think they will win as they have covered runline 22-2 in last 24 games they won!

2-1 last posting (Aug 13), +0.91 units. Pitcher change in FL game voided that, tho in LV here I don't take listed pitchers in side bets--and have won every time there was one!

that takes it to +6.43 for the season (213-197-3). Was +18 just a few weeks ago......a little lack of discipline and....

all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).

no chalk over -160

for fun parlay pics: 1-19 (-17.79) 1 unit risk for grading purposes, but I put a lot less on them in reality!

any comments?

good luck all!

from official site:

At least the Tigers' newest starting pitcher won't have to worry about jet lag.

Nate Robertson, who established himself among the International League's stingiest pitchers in Shane Loux's absence, will make his Tigers debut against Texas in the start of a three-game series at Comerica Park.

Part of the return package from Florida in January's Mark Redman trade, the 25-year-old left-hander is barely a .500 pitcher. In other categories, he's far better than that. His 3.14 ERA at Triple-A Toledo ranked fourth among IL starters, and his 155 innings pitched ranked second. With the Tigers hoping to avoid a hefty innings total on him this year, they want to see what he can do against Major League hitters with the innings he has left.

Robertson has been stellar since the All-Star break, having won his last three starts and four of his last five. He gave up a run on five hits in eight innings in his last outing Tuesday against Charlotte. His only defeat in that span was a 3-1 loss in which he took a 1-1 contest into the eighth.

His record reflected his run support; the Mud Hens scored an average of 3.7 runs in his 23 starts. Normally he would expect the same from Detroit, but the Tigers have scored 13 runs in their last two games.

Robertson made one start and five relief appearances in a September call-up for the Marlins last year. He yielded four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings in his first Major League start last Sept. 7 at Pittsburgh.
