LA has Bernier in net tonight, he is 2-4-1 with a 2.82 goals-against average and and .893 SV%. Bit of a surprise move -- LA is probably showcasing him to trade for someone/anyone/thing who can score. Tho LA top prospect Tyler Toffoli, eating those sweet peanut bars, is scoring droves now in his last season in juniors.
Caps aren't the best against backup goalies either. But motivation for a split on this Cali road trip should make up for that. Caps might score bunches (take WA?) or barely win low-scoring game (take under? Ok, both...but that line has me scared, so taking WA +1.5)
Luongo has something to show, and he always good back in Florida. Team off that emotional high and celebrations, but they are good at focusing of late...but they are in Florida...
