3-3 Sunday

Detroit / Miss St.

Lots of respect for the Detroit Titans here. They are a very well balanced team with Holman in the middle and a host of very good guards, one of whom happens to be freshman Ray McCallum Jr, the coaches son. Just a freshman, he was a high D1 recruit who elected to stay home and play for dad. When he gets the college game all figured out,He's going to be very, very good and is already geting a lot of minutes. I think this Detroit team can win 25 games this season.

I have been planning to use the Titans as a live dog and this is another good spot for them with two really nice players in Sidney and Bost ineligible for Miss St. I bought a unit at +6 and hope to get a little more if the number rises. I know that we have some Miss St. guys on this board and would be interested in their view of this game and their team.

Also have some interest in the SD St./Mia.O. game if the number looks good.

Good one BG-I think they made the mistake of going to class and gettng an F instead of never going to class and being given a grade of an A-ha ha.

I heard that a player will be suspended only if he pisses on coach Stansbury. However, if he keeps it below the knee, the player will receive only a written warning and all is well.

Actually, Bost in particular is either really stupid or very poorly advised. I suspect both.

From Ed's injury report:

"Junior G Dee Bost will miss a total of 14 games for two reasons. First, Bost is academically ineligible for the fall semester for failure to keep up with his academics during the 2010 spring semester and summer. Also, Bost kept his name in the NBA Draft too long after the deadline passed for underclassmen to withdraw their names from the draft and return to school. Because the academic ineligibility issue lasts longer than the NCAA's 9-game suspension, Bost will miss just 14 games for the two offenses. Bost is MSU's most dynamic returning perimeter player."

2h: Princeton +7

I've seen enough out of Jimmy Mad tonight. I don't think that possess the depth that is needed to bury Princeton in the 2nd half.

Seems like a generous number
