I can't wait to see Big Ten comments by countinguy as I really like three teams from the Big Ten tonight to cover. My perfect record in Indiana games will be at stake tonight as I have a play on them. A couple big lines had me looking at every angle in the BYU-Idaho State and Duke-Davidson games. So here is what I have come up with.

Indiana -7 5 units (bought the half)

Minny ML 4 units

Penn St +11 3 units (bought the half point)

Fairfield +3 2 units (bought half point)
TX-GW U156 2 units

I was leaning towards Duke -28 as I think their defense playing at home will be just too much for Davidson, but will stay away due to the game being a weird time over the holiday season.....what dukie rowdies will be in town for the game?

I really think BYU's toughness and physical play will roll over Idaho State, but too many points and better games to play IMO.

Looked at taking the 10.5 and San Fran over Utah State as these teams play each other tough but will pass as I want to keep card small.

Look out for Indiana-Purdue, tough little bunch with some athletism, but IN HAWAII????

Write ups on my plays to follow!

Lets start with the game that I almost made my first 10 unit play of the year.....

My perfect record of 7-0 is on the line tonight in a game that has the money moving the line my way! I first saw this line at 8 and then have seen it move to 9.5 in some places....BUT three places on Bestbettor and both my books have it down to 7.5????? I know Indiana has struggled on the road, but come on this is a North Texas team that Indiana totally dominated last year winning by 26 points (84-58) where Bracey Wright was 7 of 12 shooting from the field and 5 of 7 from beyond the arc scoring 21 points. NOW he gets the chance to play in front of his family and friends but most importantly against players that he is VERY familiar with....10 of North Texas' players come from Texas mostly from the Dallas area where he played 4 years of high school ball. North Texas has the beefy guy that has given the Hoosier's troubles in times this year (Shawnson Johnson is a senior at 6-9 and 250 lbs) but I feel IU played Torin francis from ND tough and did a respectable job against Mizzou who are both light years ahead of Johnson!

Indiana has struggled to find a point guard who can RUN the offense. I attended the game in Bloomington vs. Morehead State and practice the next day.....Walk on, yes I sais Walk on guard Ryan Tapak may be this guy. He should get his second start tonight and though you will never hear me put him on Coverdale's level, he does play with the same toughness and grit and is out to prove he belongs. He is a good penetrator and passer and can shoot when he needs to. He allows Strickland and Wright to play the wings where they are better suited.

Don't make any mistake either, Indiana will have fans at the Pit tonight as Bracey just as others in his Dallas class have a very big following (bosh came with Toronto to play the Mavs, had a huge cheering section).....

Indiana wins this game by double digits tonight with a HUGE night from Bracey and Strickland!

Minny on the ML playing at home in a revenge game from last years beating they took in Lincoln is the way to go. I could see them winning this by double digits behind the freshman sensation Humphries who is very dominating and will be a huge producer tonight.

Penn State is starting to play better basketball and though the Pit is tough place to play for anyone, 11 points is way to many. I think penn state will stay in the game for a while and then losing somewhere between 5-8 points....On a neutral court they could compete right to the end IMO so does the PIT warrant 8-11 points, not IMO!!!!

Fairfield getting points is a gift here as they win outright. They are playing good basketball right now. This is a case of two teams heading in different directions IMO. Fairfield wins easily in the end....getting the points is a huge plus....

Texas-GW....This should be a physical game with good defense. I can't see how this line is at 158 when I can only see it pushing to get 140! I hate playing totals in College hoops though so its a small play for me....
