A little under the weather (nothing serious) but starting to round back into shape. That's why you've had the pleasure of my absence. LOL. Don't get used to it. Anyway here's a couple I am looking at for today (Monday):
LA +111 over SF
Not to jinx myself but some teams you seem to have a good feel for. LA has always been one of those type teams for me. Their offense has been anemic lately but I still like the fact their pitcher is much much hotter right now. In his last 3 games the Dodgers have won all 3 with Odalis Perez himself going 2-0. His ERA was only 1.29 and he had a 0.76 WHIP. In 21 innings he only gave up 12 hits. Dam hot he is right now. Hernandez on the other side is 1-2 with an ERA of 5.79 in his last 3 starts. Not only does he give up way more hits per inning than Perez, he also walks almost twice as many batters. Even with cool bats that can be a deadly combination. Since Hernandez is only 4-8 in his career against LA and we can pick them up as a small dog, why not?
Kansas City -129 over CWS
Boy did Byrd ever let me down in my last play. Was red hot and had him as a big dog against Oakland and he never made it out of the first inning. We almost won the game anyway as they came back to tie it only to lose 12-11. From what I see the really good pitchers (and I still consider Byrd one) always look to bounce back after that kind of poor outing. Matter of fact makes me like the play all the more him getting sent to the showers early his last outing. Besides the White Sox are horrible on the road and Byrd is 2-0 this year already against these White Sox. The Irishman says make that 3-0 after tonight as Byrd wants to bounce back and do well in front of the home town fans. Good luck men!
Probably the only two plays for me. Good luck everyone.
