Sun 1-3 (-229)

Well, I've hit a bump in the road here, so it may be time for a little rest, seeing how things go the next few days. Interleague play took a lot of the wind out of my sails (and profits from my acct), so I can't say as I'm going to miss it. One NL game for Monday:

LOS ANGELES DODGERS (-119) The Dodgers swept the Orioles at home and managed to get 2 of 3 from the Yankees, so I am going to play this team as they head up the coast. Although Odalis Perez is only 2-5 in his career vs. the Giants, he has pitched them well this year, giving up only 4 ER in 14 IP against them in 2004. Perez has also been very good in his last few starts and his road numbers are also quite respectable. In contrast, Kirk Reuter is only 1-4 at home this year with an ERA over 5 and a half, and although coming off one of his best outings of the year, he has not shown an ability to put two good starts together and hitters are hitting a whopping .317 against him so far. The Dodgers lead the season series 5-1 as well, so I am going to trust these numbers and look for LA to put another one in the win column.

I know I say this every week, but I will say it once again.....Monday sucks! :thefinger

Good Luck,

Sharky

I was also looking at Perez, but sometimes the Dodger bats fail to produce, they do seem to be the right play here with the much better pitcher!

Good Luck

GL with the Dodger play Sharky. Perez has been on this year but hasnt gotten the run support. Reuter hasnt been all that great this year so im assuming they can put a few runs to get you the win. Im just hoping its not a blowout for my sake ;)
