YTD 67-47 (+2080)
Sun 1-3 (-229)
Well, I've hit a bump in the road here, so it may be time for a little rest, seeing how things go the next few days. Interleague play took a lot of the wind out of my sails (and profits from my acct), so I can't say as I'm going to miss it. One NL game for Monday:
LOS ANGELES DODGERS (-119) The Dodgers swept the Orioles at home and managed to get 2 of 3 from the Yankees, so I am going to play this team as they head up the coast. Although Odalis Perez is only 2-5 in his career vs. the Giants, he has pitched them well this year, giving up only 4 ER in 14 IP against them in 2004. Perez has also been very good in his last few starts and his road numbers are also quite respectable. In contrast, Kirk Reuter is only 1-4 at home this year with an ERA over 5 and a half, and although coming off one of his best outings of the year, he has not shown an ability to put two good starts together and hitters are hitting a whopping .317 against him so far. The Dodgers lead the season series 5-1 as well, so I am going to trust these numbers and look for LA to put another one in the win column.
I know I say this every week, but I will say it once again.....Monday sucks! :thefinger
Good Luck,
Sharky
