Monday Cubs Play

Will try to put up as much Cubs info as I can and post my plays.

CUBS -125/Zambrano........$200

Like the start of the season with this horse. Zambrano is a horse and last year he showed it going 16-8 2.75 ERA (4th in the league), and a oppts batting average of .225. The year payed off when he got his first all star game apperance as well. Some of you may know, last time Zambrano was out there, he went into the 7th inning with a no hitter, which was broken up by a cheesy call. Arizona is going to counter with Vasquez. He is a good pitcher, but his spring training didn't impress me much. I believe he had a 6.66 ERA and he is coming back to the national league after a 1 year stint with the Yanks. Vasquez is just going to have a hard time against this Cubs line up. For Zambrano, all he has to do is really worry about Craig Counsell leading off. He has hit Zambrano for .333. Should be a good game, but I just like the season to open up with a Cubs win.

leaning towards the A's too. I hate seeing Zito getting some money towards his way and with Lopez going for the O's, that doesn't really help either.

gl to you this season bro. I think that Zambrano has alot more to worry about than Counsell. Glaus has been on fire this spring and they have some new bats in there lineup. I still am leaning to the Cubs though. Gl to you

no doubt about that. I just think Zambrano needs to get the first guy out, especially the lead off hitter. With Glaus coming to the NL, i have to give a little bit of advantage to Zambrano, but still he is going to be dangerous. Even after him, you only have to face Green. There is only 1 person in that line up that was on Arizona's opening day line up last year and thats Gonzo. I am a bit leery of Glaus's Defense as well. Should be a good one though
