Playoffs 63-37, +95.66Units

Futures......
Sens to win the Cup +700 x1 (7 more wins:D )

Series......
Ottawa to win -123 x3 (1-0 Ott)
Ottawa to win -114 x3 (1-0 Ott)
Anaheim to win -135 x3 (1-0 Ana)

Going against most cappers here and trends, I'm just trying to stick with the system that's gotten me this far, and try to come up with what I feel is a higher percentage play:shrug:. If this was the regular season, I would be hammering Ana today, FWIW......

Quacks ML+115 x2
Quacks/Wild Over4.5+125 x2
Kinda lazy to even do cut and paste:D, I put up a lot of thoughts and info in rc conditioner's thread, if you're interested:). Will add another unit if Manny's starting over Rollie.

Another interesting stat about these 2 teams going HTH. In ALL 5 meetings this yr, Ana has won more face-offs than Minny, for a total of 186-141 edge in favor of Ana:eek:.

If the Quacks win tonite, will hit Jersey BIG tomorrow nite:D;)

AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE!!!!!!

Thanks, guys. Good luck to you, too:D.

Coozer, sorry for the late reply, I was AFK for awhile. I have it at 2-5 (although that's not that better than 1-5:D ). It didn't bother me that much, though, since Minny is a mediocre 5-4-2 this yr in the games following being shutout, including losing to Roy at home earlier in the 1st round. AND of the 5 wins, 4 games went over the total. So I figured if I'm taking Ana, then Over4.5 is probably a good insurance, especially at +return. 2 goals from the Quacks, and I come out a winner tonite:D

Good luck, buddy.

Solid call on the Ducks, don't worry

Solid call on the Ducks, don't worry

about the Total, being up 95+ units...makes it easier, lol.
You really gotta believe that NJ puts it all out there.
I was watching tape of the Devils in game 1 and you
can see their legs over this series will wear out.....
plus the Sens have SO much depth, impressive.
Definitely with you on NJ tomorrow, I didn't realize
the stat line on the total, thanks ddubs.......GL

Not gonna be around much today, added the over this morning......

Devils ML+110 x4
Devs/Sens Over4.5-120 x2

If I didn't feel so strongly that the Sens are gonna win the series, I would have put more on the Devils tonite. Just my personal opinion, but to beat NJ in a series, you have to have more the 1 good scoring line, and the Sens have 3. NJ ALWAYS takes out their opponent's 1st line, then rely on the trap and Brodeur to wrap up the win. If NJ loses tonite, stick a fork in them. I've gone back quite a ways back into playoff history, and I couldn't find a late round series where NJ started 0-2. In fact, every NJ series I looked up started 1-1:eek: whether they were OTR or at home.

BTW, I see the line is slowing moving toward the Sens again, just like Minny last nite. Hopefully, this keeps up:D

Good luck tonite, guys:D

30-25 Edge to the Quacks AGAIN! Now 216-166. It's hard to get your offense started when you lose the face-offs in your own zone and have to work an extra 20-30 sec just to get it out of the zone.

Also, Minny outshot Ana again last nite, 24-22. In Ana's 12 playoff games this year, they were outshot in EVERY GAME except 1, and even that game was even at 32 SOG's a piece. Yet these guys have 10 wins to show for. Giggy is just fawking amazing.

Thanks, cooz. I'm glad I could return some of the favors from tailing your hoops and bases picks:D.

Playoffs 66-38, +101.36Units

Futures......
Sens to win the Cup +700 x1 (7 more wins )

Series......
Ottawa to win -123 x3 (1-1 Ott)

About Ana/Min Game3, looking back to Conf Final Game3's over the L5 playoffs, pretty much everything's split right down the middle. Whether it's Over/Under, Home/Road, Fav/Dog, I couldn't find a worthwhile trend to mention. Minny has it's back agains the wall and did well on the road this playoffs, but it was against Cloutier:eek:, and Roy who gave up his share of soft goals in that series. With the way Giggy's playing, Min+130 simply does not have enough value, IMHO. Ana was ~-120 in G1, then ~+120 in G2, now only -140 at home in G3?? If anything, I think the value is in Ana:shrug:. Minny hasn't score a goal yet vs Giggy, who's stopping everything he sees. If Minny doesn't create some traffic in front of him, Minny is toast.

This will also be the 3rd straight series that Giggy is going home up 2-0, and he's been just as good, if not better, in G3's than in G1 and 2......

Gigger after going up 2-0 on Det: 2-1 Win to go up 3-0, 36 saves
Gigger after going up 2-0 on Dal: 1-2 Loss to go to 2-1, 30 saves

I still remember the 2nd goal by Dallas. Hatcher took a slap shot from the point, and it deflected off of (I think) Letinen's shinguards, and went between Giggy's pads. So he didn't let up one bit just because they were up 2-0.

Another thing I've noticed about Ana's D is that they also play their own brand of neutral zone trap. Many Minny players have said that as soon as they get the puck between the blue lines, there's a Duck player right in their faces. A HUGE advantage, though, going to the Ducks, is that whenever they get in trouble in their own zone, they immediately ice the puck. And why not?? Especially the way Minny continues to lose face-offs to the Ducks. Ana has won more face-offs in every single game vs Minny this yr.

So with all this Dubber garbage I just put up, I'm probably gonna lay off altogether and hold onto my Ana series tix. I would lean toward Ana and Under4. But at 4, a fluke goal, a PPG, and you're already 1/2 way there, not to mention an empty-netter. IMHO, the better bet is to save my money and put it on the Sens as a nice road puppy on Thurs, hopefully Redden is ok, although it doesn't look good. Fawking Stevenson, sticking his knee out, piece of chit:mad:

Anyways, best of luck with whatever you play tomorrow!:D
