A bit of a late start today so i am just focusing on games that start at 4:30 PST or later.
-Jackets come off the big win over Minny but in my opinion that was more of an aberration brought on by the emotion of playing an expansion rival that is headed for the playoffs than an indication of better play to come. Atlanta has legitimately been playing far better but their recent home results have been questionable.
-Nashville's scoring has evaporated, scoring 2 or less goals in 7 straight (and they are -1/2!). Edmonton has scored at least 2 in eight straight. Nashville is in a non b2b 3 in 4, a situation where they won 5-0 last time it occured.
-Dallas has failed to score more than 3 in 5 straight while the Canucks have scored at least 3 in 4 of 5. Dallas returns home from a poor 1-2 roadie with one day of rest, a good spot for them. Dallas has won both meetings this season, but the two teams have not played this calendar year.
-Hawks have won 2 of 3 and look impressive offensively with 14 goals in those three games. Sharks broke a 4 game skid with a win over Calgary but were badly outplayed in the first period and had to rely on great goaltending to keep them in that game early.
