Hens have won 13 in a row and are 11-0 in the Col. Sadler is one of the top players in the east avg over 20 pts a game.Usher has picked up his scoring since Threatt has been suspended and Anderson and Baptiste can score...Hens can put up some big points avg almost 80 pts a game..but they are terrible on defense ranking in the 300's...Hens won the 1st time over Tow 83-76 in a game where there were 59 fouls and 80 FT's.And the leading scorer for the Hens was Threatt with 20 pts who is no threat tonite.Towson has one of the best players in the country and a future NBA player. Benimon is 6'8 scorer from everywhere.He avg 18 pts and 11 bds.He also has over 100 assists and is a force...Dumas also controls the bds and can score.Burwell and Rivera all solid and 4-McGlynn is a 3 pt machine.. This is the kid that transferred from Vermont who broke everyone heart up in New England...Hens defense has some problems and they have to double up on Ben...think 4-G has a big game...Hens have done well w/o Threatt but tonite I think it catches up on him...
Geo St -12 over Texas St ****
Geo was 10-0 running thru the Sun belt and then ran into a hot shooting Troy team...at home tonite vs the Bobcats who can't catch a break...they were up big over UTA saturday only to fall apart in the 2nd half...Bobcats top scorer is Wright who had a good game vs UTA with no turnovers...amazing stat because he is so tunover prone...they hit some 3's but have no inside scoring or gds that can break down teams...they play outstanding defense esp on the perimeter with ball help,etc...but tonite that will have to contend with one of the best 2 gds tandems in the south... Hunter is a 6'5 gd and a NBA prospect,coaches son.Best player in the conf who is avg 20 pts a game. Harrow is the Kentucky transfer who is avg 17 pts a game and then you have 5'11 waterbug White who has 106 assists.Harrow has 109..talk about some talented gds...inside they have Atkins and Washington.. Geo avgs 80 pts a game,29th in the country..they can shoot the 3 and are 3rd in the nation in FT% shooting 77%...they give up 71 pts a game on defense and aren't a big rebounding team but there aren't to many missed shots since they shoot 47FG%...
Losing the other day to Troy was a wake up call because they thought they were going undefeated in the conf....tonite they meet a team that plays aggressive defense but has trouble scoring....Bobcat gds will have trouble containing Hunter and co. Both teams ATS records are bad. But Geo is 5-2 and Bobcats 4-1 in last few games...
Baylor -4 over Ok St **
Bears beat them by 6 @ Ok St with Smart....think Bears are lucky they won at KSU and have the better talent..Playing at home with a better front line gives them the edge.
Davidson -17 over Citadel **
Two teams going in different directions...Cit has lost 15 str,0-12 in conf,etc..can't shoot,score,etc...Dav is No 1 in conf in scoring avg 78 pts. One of the top teams in FG%....is 11-1 in So Con but has Chat-a nooga right behind them...
