Texas +111....Big thanks to Sharky here, he jogged my memory on this one. I look at this game this way, both pitchers are very good left handers, but their teams are very different. The Tribe bats are poor against the lefties this year (10-15) while the Rangers just beat up on a good lefty in Andy Pettitte and are (11-11) vs the southpaw starters this year. Sharky's point about Sabathia's injury is very valid. Could go one of two ways on that, either he is hurt/not fully healed and will make an early exit/be on a pitch count, or he is fine but very out of rhythm like any pitcher who essentially missed a start in their rotation. Either scenerio I feel leans to the Rangers favor. Texas' bats put up 18 runs yesterday so hopefully they can stay hot here.
Tampa Bay game one +125....I know that they lost yesterday but this club has still won ten of their last twelve on the road. Brazelton has shown some great stuff last few times out, and had hit his stride. This guy was a high first round pick for a reason and is starting to prove his value on the major league level. The Phillies did a great job of depleting the Orioles bullpen, and this afternoons starter saw action out of the bullpen Friday night. Much like the game above I love to fade pitchers who were taken out of their rhythm in the rotation/in regards to days off, so this is a play for me. Might look into the over in game two, especially if the bullpens get taxed in game one, because I think we are going to see a lot of tired legs on defense by nightfall for both teams coming off the long week.
