I have chc tt ov 2.5 -175 wtf??
I would rather have that and lay the extra juice to avoid the push.....If you have 3 you gotta get to 4. If you have 2.5 you only gotta get to 3. In theory it's like a run and a half No?

In this situation, given the inconsistent nature of the Cubbies bats, I would NOT want to lay that kind of juice and I am not the kind of bettor afraid to lay the extra wood. I would much rather buy down from the half pt/run and pay extra juice to get to a whole number than to get a half number. I understand what you're saying, but that's just my strategy. I'd rather the push than to risk a loss at that price.
I'm just an aggressive player I guess.....Not trying to be a dick but if you think the cubbies bats have an inconsistent nature than why the play? If anything I would think you would be playing it because of the inconsistent nature of Liriano. So you would buy down even more from the 2.5? Where can you buy down on a TT?? GL
Liriano is the reason for the play. I guess I've just been burned by the Cubs bats a few times this season, so I may harbor some bitterness with this team. But yeah, more of a play against Liriano.
I don't have a book where you can buy down TTs, nor have I seen one. To explain it better, I'll use IE's 1st 5 play on the CHC/PIT total. In this situation (and every one is not the same), I would rather wait and see if one of my books moves it down to 3 minus 20 or 25 on the over and play it there, rather than get 3.5 plus 20 or 25. Again, just my personal strategy that I employ. Especially in a sport like baseball, many bettors would rather take the plus money than lay the juice and I might agree in certain situations, but more often than not, I'll take the whole number.
I hear ya..when dealing with ML's and baseball I would rather lay the juice just to give me more of an advantage. IMHO personally I think you have to be more of an aggressive player in baseball thus the reason I don't play it as much and I have a tendency to chase more in which plays have higher juice.. GL the rest of the way...Respect your opinions...:0074
I fail to see how the Brewers are going to top 3 runs tonight against Ross and Co. In their last 11 games (3 series against the D-Backs, Giants and Cubs), MIL has scored more than 3 runs only once and reached the three run plateau in just two other games in that span. Ross has pitched very well this season and I've looked for ways to get behind him, so while I don't trust the Padres offense to produce, I will fade the Brewers poor bats tonight.
MIL Team Total UNDER 3.5 -105 x6
I'll ride with you on this one, haven't posted any tt this season but this looks like a solid play. Good luck on the first five bomb with Seattle, pulling for you.
