ncsu @ va - hard to imagine the cavs not being a little hung over after having a win @ duke stolen from them by a traveling grayson allen with about .2 seconds to play. state's getting a little better offensively, cat barber's from Newport news and was snubbed by uva, and the wolfpack is 4-1-1 ats in acc games. I like the dozen.

Oakland @ wright st - as I type this line has gone up to 2-. i know Oakland is everyone's darling but I need one of you horizon gurus to talk me off of the raiders. wright st and Oakland are currently locked up for 2nd place in the league, and in the horizon, 2nd place comes with a tournament double bye. the grizzlies hammered wright in Rochester a couple of weeks ago as 5- point favorites, so shouldn't the raiders be laying a few? point is, wright is 12-1 @ the nutter center (my favorite arena name) and is fresh off upsetting valpo on the road. to change their last outcome vs Oakland they know they'll have to slow things down a bit, so I'm seeing wright st and the under.

Wofford @ uncg - while 4 teams fight it out for 2nd place in the socon, there's another battle going on for 6th place between western Carolina and uncg. with 6th comes a tournament bye, without it goes any chance of going deep. all socon teams playing today are playing their 3rd game in 5 days except uncg, who had Saturday off. that scheduling break, coupled with the fact the terriers have a huge game with archrival furman coming up on Saturday, make me think the Spartans have a chance at the revenge upset tonight.

western Carolina @ etsu - those that know where i'm going hold your nose. the catamounts suck on the road - 1-13 this year, omly win at conference doormat vmi. due to proximity western and etsu are longstanding socon rivals; not much of a rivalry lately as the bucs have won 18 of the last 19 matchups. but like duke above, the bucs have to be a little down after dropping Saturday's game to their other socon rival utc, in a game that eliminated them from any chance at winning the regular season. hard to articulae but i see the cats keeping this one close, and i see the line has already retreated to -6- in the face of overwhelming action on etsu.

nothing jumps out that i want to play outright so i'll probably throw 2 or 3 parlays out there consistent with what's above.

I like Wright and the under with some reservations. As you stated, they just beat Valpo on a last second tip in and that is a huge deal to beat them at Valpo. In fact they beat them twice this season which is really something in my view because Valpo is no joke and is one of those mid majors that is capable of making a sweet 16 run.

Wright St is also very tough to beat in Dayton and is one of couple teams in the Horizon that can hold Oakland's high flying pace down a bit.

The only real concern I have is the very quick turnaround with travel after such a great road win. I just wonder how much they will have left in the tank.

As always, best of luck

see where the uncg line has moved to -1. that's about as fishy as a line can get. that's enough to put me on the Spartans straight up.
