oklahoma moneyline (+125) over oklahoma state
(overnight at pinnacle)

sooners not the team theyve been in the past, but this is still a solid home team that has good wins on that floor. even though osu is playing very well- i think its a little much for them to be laying even a point or two of road chalk. i was expecting okie to be a 1 or 2 point favorite, and i woulda still backed the sooners. pokes comin in nice and fat....long winning streak, starting to get some national press, and drilled kansas last big monday. but on the road in this rivalry is another story. oklahoma wins. and just saw sun tzu is on em as well, which makes me even more confident. also worth noting: home team has won the L7 meetings straight up. should be 8 on tuesday morning.

Sooners seem to be the solid side here (say that 3 times fast):D

But this game scares the hell out of me and I don't mind saying it. Home team has won the last 7 in this matchup and, as mentioned, Okla still a very solid team at home. But Okla St. has just been playing lights out the last month. The most impressive thing to me is that in a similar spot they dismantled Iowa St. at home (a team that's taken out Kansas and then Texas at home) and handed them their only home loss. Cowboys will have to come back down to earth sometime but will it be tonight? I don't know, and I don't think I have the stones to go against them. Probably a no-play for me.

GL tonight!

.....but only if sampson's sooners can stymie state's speed and size, so far their strength this season. ;)

for real though - i think okie gets this game. not sure how anyone sees this game as a mismatch. sure expectations for okie were too high this year, but it aint like theyre a scrub bunch.

adding this total play:

east tennessee state/citadel under 133.5

with some big games coming up to close out the regular season for east tennessee (fresno state, college of charleston), i think this is gonna be a sloppy, goin-through-the-motions kind of game where etsu can name the score but could cruise to a 12-14 point win. both teams turn the ball over a lot. both teams are below average at the line. and citadel could very well slow it up to a crawl to try and stay in it. gonna try for 6 straight totals. citadels lack of offense should keep this one under the number

wish the sooners could have dropped me a quick call to let me know they were gonna mail the 2h in.

1-1 for the night

last play:

colorado state (+5) over byu

somethin tells me rams show up, even if nelson doesnt play. no doubt hes an important part of their team- but i think csu finds a way to win the game. have they played well lately? not really. but in an isolated spot on national tv for em at home, i think they step up. 3 game road swing awaits. mountain west has actually become one of the tougher conferences to win SU on the road. byu no prize on the road in conference. home teams have been lame tonight on espn (cuse and okie) but rams close the night out with a win. and it seems the back end of this trip gives even good teams trouble.

1-2 for monday. string of winning days temporarily broken

one thing kind of surprising:

only 3 of 13 home teams covered on monday

have seen a lot of home-dominated nights. not as many visitor-dominated nights. this was one of em.

played virginia under 144.5 for tuesday

gl and goodnight

of course the inevitable cock tease by colorado state came in the final 1:00 or so.

byu is such an enigma. so good sometimes, so bad others. and often in the same game:confused:
