Nashville is the worst team in terms of offence. Vokoun shud make the start for Nashville. If he does he will break his own club record for consecutive starts. I am sure he will be sharp today.

Columbus plays good hockey @ home.

Vokoun has played against Columbus 3 times and has allowed
2 , 1 , 0 goals respectively.

Denis has played once and allowed 1 goal in the contest.

Among games played in Columbus among these teams 3 of 4 games have gone Under the total.

The under is 11-4 with NAS playing a losing team.
The under is 8-3-2 in NAS's last 13 games overall.

In the last 5 games the offence has picked up and defence has been sloppy. But I look more here for how each team is going to matchup against the other team. When Detroit plays weaker teams they play a much more open game suitable for offence. I think these two teams will play a more defensive game as has been seen in the past.

BTW, 3/4 situation for CBJ tonite. They are 1-4-1 this season when in 3/4, with 5, 7, 6, 6, 7, 7 goals scored in those games.

thanx ddubs. Took that into consideration but am banking on Nashville not getting its offence into gear.

Also I look for the game to be defensive by both teams and not a shootout .. am expecting less number of shots on the goal

When they gave up a lot of goals in that situation the opposing team's offence was much better than Nashville.

Also they usually ( and I use this word lightly ) play better @ home.

Either I screw them or they screw me. I prefer screwing them.

especially with Vokoun having great numbers against Columbus I made play on the wrong party.

Inspite of this I took Nashville Under as I thought they will not give up a lot of goals to Nash @ home. Bad Bad call. Something to learn.

nashville scoring 5 goals .. boy I did not expect that .. looking back I played contrary to what I shud have done ..

Nashville goalie had great numbers against Columbus in 3 games. % wise I shud have played the Columbus Under.

5'th goal by Nash with 5 mins left vaporised any chances of a push. Just too many penalties by Columbus early which set the tone for Nashville.

I was watching the Rangers game. The defensive effort was lacking in the first . the second goal by Hossa shud have been stopped by Dunham. Rangers have goaltending problems and till they are solved they will not win against good offensive minded teams like Ottowa.
