NFL Season Record: 59-42-1
The boys who get paid to play treated me well this week. However, Monday night games have been a struggle for me. A bit scared as I see many solid caps on the opposite side of me tonight.
OVER 32.5 (-126) pinny bought a point
Total is dropping like a drunk co -ed's panties after a night of drinking at the frat house. I know the weather is a bit suspect, but this is the NFL. With a couple back up QB's one might expect some turnovers creating a short field and leading to more scores.
From the main page at covers.com "Odds makers forced to adjust MNF monsoon...for some reason the odds makers were slow to adjust the total for the Monday nighter. Now they could get hammered by the under. Tonight's weather conditions will make it difficult for either team to move the ball " predicts Covers expert Shawn Torrey....
The way I see , both of these teams are giving up over 21 points a game and 300 + yards of offense on a weekly basis. Seattle has yielded close to 400 yds of total offense over the past 3 games. Rain most of the time will benefit the offensive player, as only they know were they will cut and run.
All I've read and watched over the past 5 hours is how horrible it is in Seattle cold and windy. Game time forecast calls for 63 degrees with rain and 15-20 mph winds.... Big deal. I've sat in the stands on days with 20 degree weather & snow and seen the scoreboard light up.
You can use the argument of a poor Oakland offense and a couple no name qbs for taking the under tonight, but I wouldn't bet it just because of the weather.
