The Bengals have much more to lose; the Broncos have little to
lose and little to gain. If Cincinnati finishes 0-2 vs. the
Broncos and Steelers, then they would have a fine chance to miss
the post-season. Denver is already in, and they would assure
themselves the #2 AFC seed if they won vs. Oakland next week.
Sure, New England could lose to Buffalo next week and a 2-0
Denver finish would get them the #1 seed. But as far as the
match-up goes, Cincinnati is built to beat Denver because they
have a stout front seven, good cover corners, and an offense
that is very comfortable running the ball and keeping it away
from the Denver offense.
