NFL Season Record Updated**: 47-37-3
Had a profitable week going 6-3. Hope to cap off the week with a winner. Had a hard time pulling the trigger on this one, but found too many favorable trends to support this play.
DALLAS -3 Loss
This game could really go either way. I'm having a real hard time trying to figure out this NFC East Are they just that good from top to bottom, or is the division down a bit this year. I would have a hard time laying any of my hard earned money on the Giants tonight. One just never knows what you will get week in and week out with this team. They look like the team to beat in the East one week and in complete shambles the next. At least you know what to expect from Dallas. They won't blow you away on offense, but they will keep you honest with their under rated defense. They will pound the ball on the ground and air it out when the opportunity presents itself. Bledsoe is a very talented vet. IF he gets any protection tonight, Dallas should have NO PROBLEM covering this game. Giving the home team a big shot tonight. Some favorable trends that support Dallas....
7-1 SU last 8 vs NYG on Monday Night
23-10 SU last 33 home meetings vs NYG
4-1 ats their last 5 Monday night games
10-4-1 ats their last 15 home games vs NYG
11-3 ats as a home favorite coming off a cover as a DD favorite since 1992
The Giants have failed to win their past 4 Monday night appearances and are just 22-36 ats on the road if their opponent is off a win.
Trends are a great tool and should most certainly be used during handicapping any contest. That being said, they are what they are....and could be broken at any time. In the biggest divisional game of the season to determine first place, I will take the home team who is more balanced on both sides of the ball and has the better coach.
Good Luck tonight Gentlemen....
