eagles offense tonight

eagles offense tonight

i see alot of action on the saints and it could be the right side...it's preseason anything really goes ( i limit my plays to half units these early weeks of preseason), but that being said, i want to bring to light the notion that the eagles are going to "play everybody"

this is where i still see the edge to the eagles.

each quarter will see a different qb. first quarter mcnabb, second detmer, third feeley, and fourth hasselback. first three quarters will be good experienced qb's who know this offense well. hasselbacks new, but talented.

staley (ONLY holdout in all the nfl, of players who will be unrestricted free agents at the end of this year) is holding out, but it's ok. the players have rallied around this a little and reid wants to send a message to duce that he's not needed. buckhalter is itching to play after missing the whole season last year and show he can be #1, and brian westbrook got alot of time last year as well and is very solid. jon ritchie is a solid blocking back who will fit perfectly into the eagles offense. he wasn't utilized to his strength in oakland the last couple of years. he's got good hands and i expect him to get 40+ receptions out of the backfield this year. you'll see them throw to him tonight.

freddie mitchell has been mcnabbs favorite receiver this camp. i was at camp 2 days this preseason and his routes were perfect. he'll be the third receiver on the first offense tonight and also work with the second receivers so he'll see lots of time.

akers has been automatic from 50 yards in all camp as well. he could be the difference tonight.

reid will play all personnel who make the trip, but isn't every team right now?

good luck to all.

Way to go, I followed you on this one because the qb's for philly are far better than the one's for New Orleans. I heard this was a huge determining factor in preseason games and it proved to be true tonight? Congrats to you!!:)
