New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs +3.5

Patriots looked unstoppable in their rout @ Buffalo LW. They're currently an outstanding 20-1 SU, covering to the tune of 19-5-2 .

The task ahead is the Chiefs "O" which is at their boiling point. 152 pts, 127 FDs, & 2,089 yards in their last 4 games. 101 points total in their last 2 HGs (covers 43 & 11 pts.)

Of course the problem is KC ranks just 25th in total "D" , thus containing foes are hardly a given.

In Week 4 KC traveled to Baltimore on a Monday Night & defeated the Ravens 27-24.

With or without Holmes (most likely the latter) this promises to be a classic!!

New England has won the last 2 meetings
The home team has won the last 6 games in the series.

Trends:
NE is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on the road.
NE is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against KC.
KC is 2-2 ATS in their last 4 games at home.

The total has gone 'over' in six of the last 7 meetings.

New England has won three of the last four games in the series, but they have not met since the 2002 season when the Patriots won, 41-38 in overtime.

The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-0-1 at home against the Patriots in the last seven meetings. New England has not won a game in Kansas City in 40 years.

The Patriots have won three of its last four games on Monday nights, scoring 30 points in each of their last three Monday night contests.

Chiefs, with HF advantage, have won 8 straight HGs against the Patriots, but the Patriots have lost just 1 game in their last 24 and are 8-1 this season.

I see 3.5s are all over Vegas. I'm wondering if I can find a 4 by gametime.

Due ?
I didn't know that they were expecting. LOL
Patriots are a covering machine. What are they due for ?
On paper, w/o Holmes, NE definitely has the advantage.

But....

I love going against the grain on MNF, even though I may lose more than not.

With the public all over the SB Champs I think I will see a 4 by kick-off. ;)

Wish I would have checked your post before I played NE -3. I have a healthy respect for history, and an even healthier respect for your skills.

As you noted, Pats are a covering machine, and I am hoping they erase the 40 year streak tonight.

KC as a home dog is one of the better plays in sports, so I have my work cut out for me.

Should be a great game regardless of the outcome.
I don't bet BIG on Monday Nights especially when my team is in the mix. So I won't be ticked no matter what happens, of course I'd like to see my Chiefs win outright +150 ?? ;)

I'm dying here. What are the Patsies due for? They blew Buffalo away & have covered most all the games they have played this year.

Oh maybe they are due to win in KC

Not !!!

The Texans and Panthers came into KC this year and walked out with victories.
The Pats have a better offense than both those teams and a much better defense than the Texans.
Not to mention Holmes played in those games.

Pats want to make sure people still know they are the team to beat. Not Pittsburgh.
Do something in the playoffs Pittsburgh.
One more loss and KC will be done for the season. That loss comes tonite.
