Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tampa Bay Bucanneers

Can there really be any other way to go here ?

Eagles, Packers & 49ers all were winners this week which makes Tampa Bay a MUST play.
Yes, even with back-up QB Rob Johnson.
Bucs "D" alone will force turnovers & may score themselves.

Fact of the matter is that the home team is absolutely dominate when the Bucs take the field :
A perfect 9-0 ATS lately.

In Tampas last 6 HGs their average score edge is 27-11 & covered their last hoster by 20.5.

Steelers are 3-9 ATS in road closers.

Bucs are 14-3 ATS in December HGs.

Repeat after me.......
:director: Bucs cover the number

For total players ....

Pitt needed a late spurt for its 1st cover since Nov 3rd & in their last 4 non-division RGs, the Steelers have allowed 29 ppg.

Pittsburgh has topped 22 points in 10 of their last 11 games

Best to all

SC

BTW HOW BOUT THEM CHIEFS ????

Pittsburgh's D has been red-hot, allowing around a total of 400 yards in their last 3 games combined. They've also out-firstdowned their last 3 opponents 66-27. That competition wasn't great but Tampa's offense isn't going to re-write any records. I think this is exactly the kind of team that could give Tampa trouble.

Loved those Chiefs yesterday. Great example of a team rising to the occasion after a star is injured.

As for the Bucs, take a look at their losses the past 2 seasons. Last year they lost to Philly twice, Chicago twice, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Tennessee. This year its been New Orleans twice and Philly. Other than New Orleans and possibly Minny last year, the other teams were all "smashmouth" teams who emphasize physical play rather than speed. I love the Bucs to nullify the speed of teams like St Louis and Atlanta but that's not what they're facing tonight. As for the Steelers, they've been inconsistent but this team was the consensus pre-season pick to win the AFC.

I got srewed by the local Bookies and the Chefs yesterday. I got -2.5 and if the chefs didn't throw those INT in the 2HF, I would have won and the BILL BATTLE TREND would have been 14-1-1. Oh well that what gambling is about.
