I like the Eagles...any thoughts on the O/U? I have a feeling that with two gunslingers it might go over.

reason why

reason why

Brett Favre and Green Bay thrive as a Monday night dog (7-1 ATS run) and Favre and company will easily stay inside this number. This is way too many points for Philadelphia to be asked to cover as this is a serious let down spot for the Green Birds. Everyone thinks Philly looked great in whipping a very well below average San Francisco team last week. Philly thinks its better than it and will be looking a bit ahead to next Sunday's big showdown against Dallas and Terrell Owens. Philly will come out flat against this inspired Green bay team that was clicking in last week's win at Detroit. Green Bay will get up a score early and by tghe time the second quarter rolls around, this Philly team will ultimately realize that it's in for a dog fight.

Philadelphia has injuries all over its defense with defenisve backs BRoderick Hood and Lito Sheppard both doubtful for this contest. Several other key players on both sides of the ball are hobbling including receiver Donte Stallworth and free safety Brian Dawkins. Favre will be able to pass the football on this Philly defense that was shredded by both New York's Eli Manning and San Fran's Alex Brown. Green Bay has scored 58 points the past two weeks as Green bay is playing with confidence on that side of the football. The Philly team does give up better than 250 yards per game through the air and once again, this defenisve unit is banged up and not as stout as the ones of recent seasons.

Green Bay isn't great defensively for certain, but they have played they have plyed well the past two season at Philadelphia in a pair of close losses (19-14 in late in the 2005 and 20-17 in the 2004 playoffs.

This total is just set oo high and this game is staying UNDER tonight. Three of the first four Monday night games have stayed under the posted price and this one will, as well, as defenses get jacked up to play under the prime time Monday night lights. Both of these offenses can put up big numbers, but I look for the defenses to play better tonight, especially Green Bay's as this game will not go over. Green Bay has stayed under in eight of its last 11 on grass while Philly is on an under run of 20-6-2 in games played under the lights. This total is much too high and this game is staying under.
