indians gm 2 (lee, marcum) over 7.5 MONSTER

yes, both these pitchers have whips under 1 and have been pitching lights out

but, I'm not buying it. Keep in mind ... in Gibson's 1968 season, his whip was .87 with a 1.12 era. This might be the best pitching season ever by a pitcher. So, I'm not buying into the fact that lee and marcum are better than gibson. Over for me until they come back down to earth.

good luck Lucena. I like the over 8.5 in the 1st game of the Indians/Blue Jays. Carmona, despite the record and ERA, leads the league in walks (leading to a high WHIP), and a .276 baa. Burnett is not that good, and has been owned in his career by the Tribe--especially at the Jake.

Well the Gibson/Cy Young matchup aint going too well!!! Gibson at least had a higher mound and NO DH!! This Lee is something. Lets hope they get into a high PC and the Bullpen gets us to 8

Funny you say that. During the NFL draft, I looked up Lorenzo Booker, and he was listed as an Eagle literally two minutes after he was traded from Miami. About an 20 minutes before it was mentioned on the Eagles official site. I was impressed.
