Quite a poor ending to the week with a very bad result yesterday that wiped out our good Saturday ...

This coupled with the poor Friday, made for a very bad weekend.

Thanks for those that have been supportive. No one enjoys losing to the man. I'm perplexed as to why people want to come into the thread and create negativity. These are complete strangers that I have never said one negative thing about.

I'm the first to admit the first two weeks have been far from stellar. However, for those that have been on mj's for years know, we have won much from the man in the past.

This is my one comment on this subject this year.

It seems like I would just ignore my threads or even fade me if you feel my opinions are substandard.

Those that continue to bash just make themselves look worse. Rubbing salt in someone's wound or celebrating failure does not make the accuser look better.

Perhaps, a better way to get attention is to be positive of others. Then, we all will want to read your threads and will value your input.

For today,

astros team total under 3 double

twins over 8.5 triple

good luck all ...

Great attitude Lucena! You're absolutely right. Why people are coming into your thread makes no sense to me at all. I know you've helped me win some good coin over the last couple of seasons! You're not forcing anyone to make any plays!

GL tonight. Things start to turn around NOW!

It is because they see the day you had on Sat and then decide to jump on and they lose,so they get all pissed off and feel they have to talk bad,yes it is frustrating thinking you are going to get yourself out of a jam by tailing someone else, but they forget we all can have a losing day.Like you stated you force no one to look at your plays let alone play them, they do it on there own will,so take the losing with the winners and realize everyday isnt a winning day or quit gambling!!!!!GL Lucena always like to reference your plays,I lost on the Monster the other night but it happens,I've also posted losers and know that we don't feel good about it, but have to realize as good as we feel about something it is never guranteed, atleast in professional betting.

I agree with you guys. I don't post my plays, but I play everyday.

I know that you guys put hard effort into your plays and you're helping others by sharing knowledge and insight.

I loved your over play on Friday night with Rangers/Mariners. Yea it was a loser, but I liked it too. I didn't even think to come in and bash you for it. I was on board, liked it and played it. For me, it ended there and I didn't have to come in here and get pissy because it lost to feel better about losing.

Anyone can tail people, but it's part of being able to pick out the games you like from the cappers you follow to form a solid consensus to make your pick. It ultimately comes down to me to decide to follow, so whenever it's a loser, it's nobody's fault but my own.

I've bet too much in the past on someone's "big" play that lost, and after the fact, I was mad at MYSELF for not trusting my gut and looking for someone else to win for me.

Have confidence in your plays and things will work out in your favor. Once you start looking for other cappers to bail you out for a much needed win, it ends badly EVERY TIME.

GL the rest of the way Lucena...I'm sure I'll stop by your thread again and visit! :0074

Asking you to post your record isn't bashing. It's a simple request so those that follow you can wager accordingly. I trust your good at handicapping totals or you wouldn't have a following. I just happened to begin following during a rough patch.

Bullshit this was complete bashing.

Buried again. Post your record with your plays or don't post at all. The purpose of the site is to play handicappers that are hot and consistant.

Nobody forces you to follow anyone on these forums.

At the end of the day its your money and your decision on what to do with it.

these discussions always come down to the same thing..

why can't all posters offering their selections keep an up to date record and post the line or money line that they posted the play at..

it doesn't take 5 minutes to keep any record up to date with a mere 6-10 selections per day..

again..nobody has to follow ..

and noone should complain about tailing losers.

we ALL understand that..

what ALL posters should do is give the courtesy to all of those who play and or consider their selections ...a tally of the days action and an up todate account ..

personall don't think it much to do to help a fellow sportswagering buddy in figuring out his or her course of action for the day or night..

here are the best lines I could play today

4/15/13<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

astros team total under 3 double -124

twins over 8.5 triple -105

good luck to us..

Lucena,
I hope you take this with the friendly spirit it is given.

I'm usually in agreement with you Mr Old School.........however this time I have to respectfully disagree.

If somebody takes the time to actually do their due diligence and handicap their games, no matter the number of them, then takes the additional time to come here and post them, they have no obligation to post records. If somebody needs to know one's record then they can go back through the old threads and total it up themselves, or just go with the fact that the person they are following is decent enough to follow.

People are always looking for the easy buck.

ATTENTION::::::: There is no such thing.

If one doesn't want to put the time into doing their own handicapping, they have zero right to request, suggest or demand another persons record.

Of course this is merely my opinion and we all know that everybody is entitled to their own. This site works best with teamwork and positivity, for those that wish to tear it apart and knock others down, then you deserve what your ill will brings you.

Thanks for your continued efforts Lucena. You're a class act.

Winners are rounding third and on their way home.:0008

oh I'm keeping records.

and not just my own..

have kept records for many years on this forum..

it's laughable a few months into a season.

I'll leave it at this..

if ya drop 22 units ya need to let it be known

ya pickup 25 units ya should cheer out loud..

they both warrant the attention.

And Lucena let it be known on Saturday he was coming off a disastrous day on Friday, then let it be known he had a good Sat,maybe we should assign some of these guys that want to troll around and start shit everytime they lose the title of record keeper, then they could notify who is hot or not.Think you said it perfect Keyser Soze!!!
