Chacon seems to be coming back around, and has 1.00 era last three seasons at SF in four starts. Schmidt in a groove now and has 0.60 era vs Colo last three seasons at home, in two starts.
14 of last 18 times these teams met at SF, it went under the total.
The under is 7-2 in Colorado's last nine overall.
The under is 8-4-1 in the Giants last 13 overall.
if ump Rapuano is a HP (you can never be sure of rotation in 4th game of a series), he might not be much help with his avg 10.08 runs/gm and so/walk ration of 1.47. But five of his last six have gone under. Schmidt tossed very well in three of four times they teamed.
Went 2-0 yesterday, +1.92 units.
That takes it to +13.71 units overall (115-98-2).
