OTT -0.5 -120 / PHI
OTT is 23-12-2 ATS and 24-9-4 SU at home this year...hard to argue with that. PHI should be up for this one after their shelaquing at the hands of TOR Saturday, but there's something about this Flyer team that doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me...seems like an attitude problem...is that any wonder with Clarke at the controls? OTT playing great hockey lately, and they keep it going here, using their speed to elude PHI size advantage.
MTL @ CAR under 5.5 -130
Both teams killing penalties well lately, and PP average-to-below-average; previous meetings between these two have been fairly high scoring affairs, and the overall averages projection points to an over, but numbers aren't everything, right? I think CAR really tightens up their def here with Boston only 2 pts behind them for the final playoff spot...almost like playoff hockey atmosphere already. isn't it?
