Min -135
Mays record over the last few weeks has not been impressive. He hasn't pitched ba but he has not gotten any run support either. Holt on the other hand has pitched well over the last couple of games, but he doesn't seem to pitch well at home. This is the time of year for Min. to do a gut check if they want to make a race of it with Cleveland. Taking Min becuase of the one intangable, Tom Kelly. He needs to get Min fired up
Mil -130
Lavrault for Mil has had a solid year so far. In his 6 games as a starter he has a 4.70 ERA. This includes a loss to Phil on May 15th when he gave up 8 runs in 3 innings. Take that game away and he has a 2.66 ERA over the other 5 starts. His only problem may be the long ball, giving up 9 home runs in 43 innings but only 1 in the last 3 starts. He is 1-0 in his last 3 starts but pitched well enough to win all 3. He won his last time out but the 2 starts before that went into extra innings.
On the other hand this will be Dave Williams first start in the majors. He is an unknown in this position. If he doesn't hold up for more than 6 innings Pit. could be in trouble. Thier bp is tired and the Mil offense has started to find thier swing. Pittsburgh's pitching has allowed almost 8 runs a game over the last six games including 26 this weekend to that powerhouse in Montreal
Ariz -105
Miller for Hou has an impressive 8-3 record. Look closer! His ERA in April was 2.15. In May it was 5.08. In June it is 6.57. He was 4-1 in April, 3-1 in May and 1-1 in June. Batista for Ariz has pitched well in the month of June. He is 1-0 with a 2.79 ERA in June both starting and relieving
