Some very strange line movements today starting with the Zags line that is moving in all directions at Olympic.

Only play so far:

ODU -1 average play

Regarding Arizona:

This team will be fun to watch this year. . . not sure if they are a top 10 team right now but certainly could be as dangerous as anyone come March. Lute always has his team ready to go for the preseason tournaments. . . I expect the Wildcats to look good out of the gate because of this. The difference with this team compared to past seasons is this year's squad is very deep but at the same time their starting five will not blow you away. Because of this, I think the Cats may struggle in the first half of several games and then come on late while other teams are just trying to hold on for dear life. Lute may throw in full court presses in the first half of games because he knows that he can easily sub in when needed.

As for tonight's game, its hard to say what the best side is. My opinion would be to take Kansas +3 first half and Arizona -5.5 for the game but I am not touching this one until the half.

This looks like a very dangerous card tonight loaded with several inflated lines due to very large line moves for this early in the season. I don't think you can go wrong if you decide to sit back and simply enjoy the games without betting the games.

VERY TRUE!

i think sometimes us cappers forget that these games are meant to be entertaining even if we aren't profiting from them.

I noticed the same thing. Checked out the lines this morning, had to leave town for a couple hours for work, got back here and looked again, and there were crazy line moves all over the board. And not just your typical .5-1 pt. moves or even your standard 1.5-pt. steam moves. 2-3 pt. moves on several games.

Your ODU play was +2 this morning, and then moved three full points while I was gone. I don't think a lot of people realize how dangerous this team is. I generally won't bet against my alma mater, but I sure as hell wouldn't touch them today. Think you're on the right side there.

So. Cal
lay the 5.5 with arizona tonight

ku is depleted and bill self wont have them prepared for the 10 deep athletes that arizona will run out there......

lute ALWAYS has his teams ready for these nov tourneys and they usually find their way to the title games and win most of the time.

Yeah, I think Arizona wins but I'm a little concerned for some reason about the first half. . . not at all concerned about the second half. I just feel like we may catch some major value on the Cats with the second half line. We shall see.

ok...but if the cats are up by 10-15 at half you may have screwed yourself for the 5.5 game line.

personally i dont like first half or halftime bets but good luck.

LOL, I hear ya. . . but we both know that Arizona has typically been a much better second half team in the past. I expect that to continue given that we have a deep team

Adding Maryland 2nd half ML -140 above average

I'm playing the ml over laying the two points because I feel that Maryland wins this game even though it might be close in the end. The Zags were doing great until they started missing their shots. Maryland didn't seem to have much of a problem scoring on the Zags defense and I expect that to continue in the 2nd half. I also feel the books are sending a message by making the line -2. Maryland is the right side even though I'd like to see the Zags win

Good luck Nickelback and thanks for the kind words the other day.

As far as the KU/AZ, I wouldn't play Kansas.

I wouldn't call Kansas depleted with all the young talent. They had no depth last year but will play 10-11 players tonight. Fatigue won't be a factor. They will finally get to use Self's recruits, defense the name of the game.

Fr Micah Downs probably won't play.
