Doug Davis started slow last year as well. It wasn't until it heated up last year that he began to come around and pitch really well.
He looked like he was starting to come around last time out giving up 2ER on 5 hits over 7IP in Cincy. Pitt coming off tough loss last night to Houston after Gonzalez blew up.
