SAN FRANCISCO (Cain) -110 over LA ANGELS (J. Williams)
It's usually tempting to go against a pitcher when
he's coming off a no-hitter/complete game, but
we'll stick with Matt Cain tonight. The SF righty is
having an outstanding season (+$605, 2.18 ERA
in 13 starts) and he's up against an LA team that
has lost money here at Anaheim (-$585). Jerome
Williams checks in with a 6.76 ERA in his two most
recent outings, so we're getting a better pitcher at
a very reasonable price. Both teams are fighting to
stay close in their respective divisions, we'll look
for the Giants to prevail in this one.
