my opinion is the rich just got richer. Modesi may be having a weak year average wise, but the guy is a tremendous athlete. My bet is he probably has one of the 3 strongest arms in MLB, above average defensively, Way above average power, ability to steal 25 + bases. He will find his place in New York, nobody is a problem in that clubhouse, Joe will handle him easily. Huge upgrade over Spencer or White. And all for some AA PITCHER WITH A 2-1 RECORD.

agree with spock, it was all about how much he was getting paid. It had nothing to do with the player the jays were getting in return.Also he will do fine in NYY. I hate those yankees:fingerc:
