God how I can relate to that last post you wrote about not playing unders, and "even if I think the game will go under, I never play it."
I consider myself to be mainly a totals player....rarely if ever do I play an under....
Bases, I stuck with mostly American league....Boston, NYY, Tex, CWS....stayed almost completely off the west coast totals because it always seemed like LA, SF, Oak....all them teams played 3-2 games.....Boston or some worldbeater went out there I just looked for another game...
Tough for me to play unders in college foots even though by the stats the unders are slightly ahead of the overs.....I just try to look for blowouts and runaways that are in the high forties and mid-fifties range totals.....
Seems if I play an under it's either because the number is in the 70's or I think it's drop dead under and the number is in the 70's...
I told a friend of mine about getting burned by too many unders and that I always had to watch the whole game to win an under bet...
He got all wise on me and told me that "I was going to watch the whole game anyway"
Ok, I'll concede the fact that he was right, that I'll watch the whole game anyway.....just seems like every little point and every score or goal or field goal is like a little dagger.....the clock ticks oh so slowly and all the little cuts add up....plain a$$ torture I tell you.....ironicly about the same torture as watching the last minute play out and feeling the pressure of needing one more score to win my over bet.....
Crunch time gets all the totals players blood moving...
