What's your rationale for Texas? I see LSU keeping this one close.

LSU lost to Arkansas, who was one of the weaker bowl-teams this year. LSU had a miracle "hail Mary" to beat Ky..
I think LSU has set their eyes on next year and is using this game to meet recruits, while Tx. is showing up to romp,,
My predition is Tx. will win by 20+.

Oh, one more thing,,
Considering how poorly the SEC has done in bowls so far,,well,,this is one of the weaker teams,,
Go against the SEC in bowls, exept if they are playing in Nat'l Champ game,,otherwise, they are not interested.

bergy- I hate going with Mack and Simms in a big game, but have a feeling they roll today. If they can stop LSU's running game, which I think they should be able to do, LSU will have no offense. LSU faded the last half of the season..defense is solid..I think Texas' balance on offense (if they use Benson correctly) is better than anyone else they have faced. If turnovers and special teams aren't lopsided in favor of LSU, I think Texas wins this going away.

Going to press my luck and play the total for the Sugar Bowl as well, as my line of thinking makes it basically another play on Georgia. Like the Over...Dawgs should score in the high 30's at the very least, possibly go over the total themselves. I think this has the makings of a woodshed game.
