Mountain: Boise State will be fade city all 2017. Their slide began last year while the rest of
the Mountain West is catching up in talent and coaching. Boise had a tough schedule that
includes the top team in the West, San Diego State. Colorado State and Wyoming will have a
showdown to determine the Mountain Division Champ on November 4th. With the Cowboys
hosting, look for Wyoming Mountain West Champions 5/1 or better.

West: No Pumphrey no problem for the Aztecs. San Diego State returns talent at the skill
positions while they still look to find QB play. Rocky Long always fields a worthy Defense, but
there may be another surprise contender in the MW West Division. I will take UNLV Mountain
West Champions 30/1 as a deep sleeper. If you read a few articles on Armani Rodgers and the
loaded talent at every position on offense, you will see they can challenge San Diego State in a
great scheduling spot (Aztecs with Boise overlook). Inspecting the Rebels schedule shows none
of the big boys in the Mountain Division (Boise State, Colorado State, Wyoming). If UNLV can
find any lick of defense, this team that was banged up and depleted in 2016 can make a run at
the division.

  •  UNLV?s Mountain West schedule is a dream, avoiding the Big 3 from
  • the Mountain Division (Boise State, Colorado State, Wyoming)
  •  UNLV?s primary weakness is the secondary, which will be hidden in
  • games against heavy rush attacks (San Diego State, Air Force, New
  • Mexico)
  •  UNLV West Division Futures will be my largest sized sleeper future
  • of 2017. UNLV returns a massive amount of 2016 injuries and Redshirt
  • talent. Hosting San Diego State could be the only hurdle
