Mountaineer Race #4($10,000 Claiming)
Post Time @ 7:15pmCDT
6 Furlongs($9,700 Purse)

Like the #7-Ange Grise(7-2)*. She has the best class rating in this field of horses and faced better in her last event @ Turfway Park. Trainer Wallace Jenkins has picked a good spot for her tonight & has a solid jockey(Christian Pilare) on board. Think she bests this group @ a nice price. Gonna put her on top of the #5-Isabellarella(4-1)* who ran the best race of her young career last time out on 4/13/2013 finishing 2nd. #1-Foundation(2-1)* is the chalk and the only other contender I see is the #6-Smokin Boots(6-1)*. Here are my plays:

$20.00 Exacta 7/5
$10.00 Trifecta 7/5/1,6
$5.00 Super 7/5/1/ALL

Total Wagers: $60.00
*-Denotes Morning Line Odds

Good Luck & Go Ange Grise!!!!!:0008

Revisited that race and your horse looks solid in there. I like that workout a lot and TP invaders steal a lot of maiden races here. it's really a very soft field and I can't imagine her possibly getting beat unless the #6 moves well forward off the speed and fade run, first off the bench. The #1 horse comes from a good barn but they seldom bring in a winner in their horse's maiden voyage. The rest just seem to flat out suck.

I'll bet you a dr. pepper that your pony gets knocked down to close to 2-1 in there. I'l root her on.

Well, she did get knocked down to 2-1 and she raced really well, just got beat by the first time starter who was simply terrific. She's left in the gate, spots the field about ten lengths, gets stacked out 5 wide on the turn and just destroys them all. She gets on my horses to watch list, just may go up in class and repeat.

Jock on the 7 had a lot of trouble keeping her straight in the lane. she's worth betting back as well.

In retrospect, that 1-6-7 tri box was close to a cinch in there. the rest of the field was garbage.
