I just got off of the phone with one of my very good madjack friends, we were talking about new years and THE MUMMERS came up.................WE HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BET !!!!!!!!!!! He claims that he has never heard of the mummers other than the people living on the east coast is there anyone out there that knows who and what the mummers are??????????

We agreed that I would post this so I could prove him wrong:moon: plus I'll win the bet.

THE MUMMERS! My fiances family just gave us a great weekend in Phily package for part of our XMAS. Hotel gift certificate to the place we always stay at on Broad, restaurant gc to our favorite sushi place, zoo passes and a gift certificate to a couple of museums amoung others the MUMMERS!

WOO HOO!

Although I am lifetime East Coast...dont know if I count for purposes of this survey T, but then again you were rooting for Petey in his failed bid to defeat me in our contest so :thefinger

ACE- you didn't have to spill the beans about being a lifetime eastcoaster LOL!!! That was one of the exceptions to our bet, no one from the east coast, but its looking pretty good .

WTG with the contest "so far" as that old saying goes though "IT AIN'T OVER UNTILL ITS OVER" but who knows you just may be collecting $600 from petey in the next couple weeks GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Would love to meet up with your crew sometime when we are up in Philly. We love the Park Hyatt which I think is right near Broad and Locast. I dont know the names of many bars around there, we sort of wander around till we find a place. Although we once did go to a section of town with the Dave and Busters? Think its on the water? Shit I'm barely 30 and felt like an old fart at some of those bars.

I work at 15th and Locust. I served a supeona to a worker a the Hyatt a few weeks ago VERY NICE PLACE Let us know when your in town. I know how you feel about some of the bars downtown , I'll be 35 next week and I hate getting older. I love the knowledge and wisdom I have gained thus far but I can live without some of the other things like smile lines and the little crows feet I am starting to notice near my eyes LOL its all good though YOUNG AT HEART IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS TRY TO STAY!!!!!!
