While its senior in the middle continues to perform at high level, there?s some shuffling going on with frontcourt depth for Ole Miss.

The Rebels take on Murray State tonight at 7 at The Pavilion.

Sebastian Saiz had 21 points and nine rebounds in the Rebels? 80-75 loss at Virginia Tech on Sunday.

When he needed a break, it was Nate Morris who got the call, not Karlis Silins.

Both are freshmen. It was the debut for Morris, who had been suspended for undisclosed reasons prior to the Tech game.

Silins has tried to play through what is believed to be a minor knee injury but now will have an MRI performed.

Morris was rated a top 150 player and the No. 21 center by 247Sports as a high school senior in Lancaster, Texas last year.

?He?s got to get back in shape. He?s not had extensive practice based on his situation,? Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy said.

Kennedy would also like to see Miami transfer Deandre Burnett take a step forward in his role as a lead scorer.

Burnett, a 6-2 guard, is second in the SEC in scoring at 20.0 points a game.

He was 2-for-9 from the floor at Virginia Tech and hasn?t shot better than 35 percent in his last four games.

?His role has sky-rocketed, and he?s the first name out of every opponent?s mouth on the scouting report,? Kennedy said. ?With that comes different responsibilities.?
