Hey Guys!
Interesting game in the MVC tonight with Bradley going to Northern Iowa.....it is the classic offense meets defense in this game, and i like the defensive side.
Taking Northern Iowa -4
Bradley, the high scoring offense, goes down to Northern Iowa, the stingy defense. I am worried about the Braves three-point attack preying on the plush shooting conditions in the Panthers new home arena......but i think UNI has proven it scores high numbers in their new home gym as well.....plus they have a big time advantage on the inside, and they will use that at times to pound it inside and slow the pace to rein in the four guard Brave attack.
I know Bradley is 27-14-1 ATS dating back to the start of last season (they're 7-3 ATS this year).....but this year's senior class at UNI is 44-7 SU at home, and laying just four points is a cheap price to pay for a team with such a great home record.
Sure, Bradley did beat them at home last year, but UNI had won the four previous home matchups with Bradley. Dont have any revenge numbers to back up this statement, but i just think UNI has been eyeing this game, on national TV to showcase their new gym while paying back a team who embarassed them in front of the home folks last year.
UNI sends a defensive message to Bradley tonight and wins by double digits......or at least by more than four......
Good Luck out there everyone!!!
