Okay, let's do this. Not a lot of write up since first week will be more of gut feelings than known factors.
Utah -3 2 units **PUSH**
I think Lewis gets his yards and scores some TDs, but Utah is really tough at home. Jordan Wynn came on real strong as a Fr QB late in the year and should be even better this year. This game may come down to a FG. I'll take the push.
Colorado State +13 1 unit **LOSER**
Col St can't be as bad as they were last year, can they? If they were playing anyone other than the Buffs, I'd bet against them. I think they lose the game but only by 10.
Oregon -34 1 unit **WINNER**
The Ducks will roll in this game against the Lobos.
Washington +3.5 2 units **LOSER**
BYU needed a blocked FG last year to win this game with a stacked team. They're not going to be able to beat Wash without the players they lost.
TCU -13 3 units **LOSER**
TCU's defense will hold the Rodgers brothers in check. The offense will score a lot of points this year. May be a homer pick, but don't think OSU's QB will be able to come out first game and pull off the upset.
UNLV +20 1 unit **PUSH**
UNLV seems to come out strong in the first game. This is my upset special. Now, I don't think UNLV will actually win the game, but they will get a back door cover.
Bonus Game
Boise State/Va Tech Under 50 1 unit
Since Boise St will be part of the MWC next year, I'll play their games this year too. I want them to win this game and then lose to Oregon St for selfish reasons. But don't know if they will win this game. So, I'm betting they have a defensive stalemate type game.
