I agree, Dogs. Matt is a great guy and his internet persona is nothing like his real personality.
Here's the thing, Gregg. There's a correlation at work here.
The people that are prone to actually showing up in person at whatever party/event/function, even just one time, are going to naturally be more prone to wanting comraderie with others from the site, so that makes it pretty easy.
It's obviously an unwritten rule that when a group of us get to together, that politics are off limits. So, no friction there.
I think everybody has a generally different internet 'persona', than in person, for better or worse on either side.
As i've mentioned before I think, Crack Rat is the only person out of literally hundreds that i've met from here and other forums that was detestable in person.
That's a pretty good percentage.
Not that everybody that i've met I would consider a friend, in the real sense(you and about 15 or 20 others would be), but i've never really had an unpleasant encounter with anybody in person.
Quite the contrary.
Thanks for the comments, guys. Even smurphy, who tries to be funny. But after Jack, he's probably the person I would consider my closest friend on here.
Wilson,
I don't remember this 'socialist' exchange from 3 months ago, but if I made you look like the tool you are, then I apologize.
Signed,
Magnificent bastid.
