What little I have, hurts. You know you're sick when your hair hurts. Weird thing is, I dont know what this is. I have never had the flu, but I think that's where I'm settling.

Fever 101.2 for 36 hours now.

Complete and total body aches. I hurt everywhere. There isn't a joint that doesn't hurt.

My eyes hurt and are stinging and watering.

No sore throat, no runny nose, no urinary symptoms, very mild cough, and what I would call shortness of air (I feel as if I have run a few miles, and I haven't done anything.

I have narrowed it down to flu, upper respiratory infection, and pneumonia.

Does this sound familiar to anybody? :0corn

Thanks. 😷

Sounds like H1N1 I had a few years ago.

Down for the count for 3 days. Did not even get out of bed. Hope you get better!

Oh no! I'm leaning towards that. I don't even feel like going to the doctor, and I really don't think it would do any good if I did. :sadwave:

Clint,

Are you having any nausea or diarrhea type symptoms.

There is presently a Cyclospora bacterial infection that has been prevalent in produce in several areas in several states that has been causing some of the symptoms you are talking about.

One thing I don't want to bring up but due to the fever I think you need to at least consider it, is meningitis or mononucleosis. Certainly sounds plausible. At least as plausible as H1N1 or Lyme disease. That is just a high fever and it is an extended one. Have you eaten any produce or a lot of produce lately and how long have you been ill?

I think you have shingles. My hair hurting was my first symptom. Then came tiredness, sore muscles, no energy, and pure whole body pain. Then the rash broke out above my eye and after 3 days I went to the dr and that's what I had.

I am just thinking that it sounds more like Mononucleosis to me due to the lack of vomiting or nausea and such which would be acute if you had H1N1. The shortness of breath really makes me think it is Mono as well. I hope you are okay brother.

Hope this helps,
FDC

I thought that as well but he should have had a visible rash by now and the shortness of breath is odd, at least not a common symptom of shingles like fatigue. If he has blisters on his torso around his spine or on his face and ears then I would think shingles for sure. Just my opinion. My guess is either Mono or a bacterial infection.

No rash. I have eaten a lot of salad this week. This started with nausea to the point I thought I would puke, but I never did. No diarrhea. I don't have the neck stiffness I would think would be associated with meningitis. No tick bites either. Thanks all.

Then my guess is that it is that bacterial infection I was speaking about. You can find plenty of information about it online. You will need to see a doc though as it isn't going to go softly into that good night my friend. Hope you feel better soon. Let me know what you find out, mono boy.
