this will be my last parlay of the year as i'll take time off and miss week 17, SO SINCE I WON'T BE BETTING THEN i'll wager heavy now
risking 1k on
Minny-3 at home against Atlanta
and
TB Bucs -3 at home against San Diego
to win 2.6k
reasons are easy to figure: Minny's win /loss ratio is9/5 (same as Atlanta) but their wins at home are 5 to 1 loss, contrary to Atlanta who's wins as visitor are 3 wins to 4 losses, also Vikes have won their last 4 games, opposed to only 1 win by atlanta (which btw was a HOME win to TB in OT and that's another angle -OT winners lose more often in next game if it's a "hard" game) i won't mention who needs the victory more or other nonsense, i figure just giving three points as home team is a GIFT that i can't pass up.
In the other hand i can't see Buccaneers, a 5-0 winner at home who lost the previous game as visitor in OT because of bad timing and bad luck, lose again and not get their chance to post season, to a San Diego team that has lost 5 times as visiting team and who's best winning streak have been against Oakland and KC chiefs by 1 point. Enough said.
Follow or Fade it's your call
BOL to all and merry Xmas to all Madjackers
have a safe holidays wherever you go

I love the TB bet, hate the Vikings bet

The Falcons have actually won 3 of their last 4, one of them included a beatdown of the suddenly almighty Panthers and 5 of their 7. They should have beaten SD by 30 on the road and gave that game away in New Orleans. And we still don't know who will play QB for Minnesota. I have them as a ml this week but nothing big.

Minny's LAST HOME (and only home) loss was in week 2

Minny's LAST HOME (and only home) loss was in week 2

and was to TB Bucs 15 to 18
all other games @ home are wins, ones more convincing than others, but all WINS
i really think this match will be tough but finally a win, as much is at stake and home should be advantage for this team
otherwise i'd be betting on Miami over KC:mj07:

FWIW..

Entering Week 16 last year, Minnesota was 5-2 @ home and had won six of seven before losing the final two games of the season. (1 HOME, 1 AWAY).

I see alot of parallels between this season and last for Minnesota. The shaky start, the emergence of Adrian Peterson, the great home record, a very nice run later in the season (6 of 7 both years) and (maybe) the collapse at the end of the season.

The vikings only home loss was actually to Indy not Tampa. Minny dominated the game for about 3 quarters but settled for FGs. I like Minny because they will stop the Falcs running game and make them pass in 3rd and longs. The Vikes line plays like Banshees at home.. The rookie will have to have a big night. .

I THINK IT'S PART OF THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO SUCCEED WHERE YOU FAILED EARLIER
Also the tragic, losing their first string QB may contribute to OVERACHIEVING in this particular game
