Kansas City at OAKLAND

Soooooo let's see. KC is 6-0 vs the old beat up and injured OAKLAND RAIDERS who are 2-4. I can lay less than a TD and if I tease it, well, all I got to do is win!! How much easier can it get???

NOT buying it... :nono: WHO has KC BEAT?? GREEN BAY away you say??? WELL, that was an early CHRISTMAS present if you ask me, as GREEN BAY pulled a TAMPA and quit a bit too soon. Besides, they kicked the ball to HALL which the RAIDERS will not do. KC is undefeated, I'll give them that. BUT their slate has been pretty easy. Beating 4 teams that won't make the playoffs, and it's possible that NONE of KC's opponents will be playing after 16 games, it's not near as impressive. THEY are giving up huge chunks of yards vs pathetic offenses. The only legit playoff team they have beat is DENVER and that was at home and again, on a HALL return.

KC is giving up over 5 yards per carry on the road. OAKLAND is averaging over 5.5 yards per rush at home. OAKLAND has won both of their home games, albeit vs weak opponents and not by much. However this IS their season. If they lose here, no playoffs for OAKLAND is nearly guaranteed. Last year when OAKLAND beat KC here in OAKLAND, they rushed the ball 60 times! They kept the ball twice as much as KC, over 40 minutes of possesion time and threw the ball a mere 14 times. Hmmm let me see. I have a banged up OL that are being penalized up the yazoo when I pass, how can I fix this??? Pretty simple if you ask me... Go back to last year's game and do the same thing that worked. RUN RUN RUN. Rookie FARGAS should get some carries tonite and take some pressure off Garner. FARGAS is flat out fast and doesn't need a big hole to get through the line. Once he's past the LB's, he's gone. I know the RAIDERS are all kinds of beat up, are getting old, and seemingly have no chance in this game, and that is the very reason I love them TONITE!

RAIDER NATION will rule again on MNF! 16-2 at home on MNF and soon to be 17-2. The rest of the AFC will be thanking OAKLAND after tonite's game for exposing the CHIEFS for what they are. A good team with a weak defense. Keep GREEN and HOLMES watching from the sideslines is the RAIDERS best option, and I think they put it together tonite.

Here's my Card:

OAKLAND M/L +180 ** 2 Units **
OAKLAND UNDER 48 ** 2 Units **

TEASER - 6.5 pts
OAKLAND +11.5 & UNDER 54.5 **** 4 Units ****

Great analysis. I agree completely, Raiders win outright. I have a big bet on them at 13/8 with an English bookie. 3-0 yesterday, all my winnings on Oak.

I won't say how much because I know how everyone gets upset with Mr. Ricklas when he does that.

OAK UN 49 ** 2 UNITS **
OAK +3 -120 FH ** 2 UNITS **

Just gotta believe OAKLAND starts out this game with a statement. Hard hitting DEF and RUNNING it down their throats. I like getting the FG at home FH, although I don't think I'll need it.

Had to add a couple of more units to the total. IF KC wins this game tonite, it will be because of the ineptitude of the OAK OFFENSE and thus, the safety play of UNDER. KC could use ball control also if they get an early lead, though that's not the way I see it. ;)

Good luck tonite all!

3-3 Overall on the game +1.4 Units

Played KC at HT on another thread, otherwise +3.6 Units in this thread. I had to hedge at HT on my teaser since OAKLAND looked soooo terrible early on. Then with the injury to GANNON, I didn't want to chance it. As it turned out, KC and the SHOESHINE BOYS (the refs) almost gave me a huge win! If BROWN stays in the endzone there at the end, who knows what happens. Would have been justice to some degree since many of the OAKLAND players, especially the defense really stepped up tonite. The fumble on the punt was a killer. IF that doesn't happen, I think the RAIDERS would have tied this one up and pulled it out in OT. But, that's the way the ball bounces (or slips, slides, etc) In reality, OAKLAND should have been getting blown out as I felt KC really dominated the play for the most part. Raiders did what most losing teams do, fail to capitalize on opportunites, and too many turnovers, especially at critical times.

Congrats to all you KC backers :moon: You did good!
