I dont much like Bill O'Reillys politics all the time but I think he is spot on in this regard. The French economy is already growing at low single digit rates and everything I have seen from the Brookings Institute to the Cato Institute has said any real decision by America to boycott French products would have a serious impact on their economy. I'm not saying throw out the French stuff you have. But when you go to buy Evian, buy Poland Springs or Castle Springs instead. If you dont want to, no big deal, but I for one will be doing my part.

According to the Dept of Commerce here are the most popular French companies whose products we import.

Chanel
Clarins
Dannon
Evian
Loreal
Louis Vuitton
Moet
Remy
Yves Saint Laurent

i had a 1998 pathfinder....and i have to say,it probably saved my life....i was t-boned by a lady coming through an intersection(while she was on a cell phone)....a $30,000 vehicle totalled....many that saw the wreck, couldn`t believe i walked away with just a concussion and some cuts and bruises....

i turned around and bought a jeep grand cherokee.....it`s o.k....and thousands cheaper..it`s a little more plush.....but the difference in quality is obvious(although the 4 wheel drive on the jeep is easier to get in and out of)....you get what you pay for....i was thinking of blowing an extra several thousand and getting another pathfinder......ar1`s post just nixed that idea.....
