I rarely post baseball games...but do play quite frequently and when I see something I really really like I let you all know....

STL/SF OVER 8.5

ANDY BENES vs Kirk Rueter: No Barry Bonds

Andy Benes is still pitching for all of you including myself who thougfht he was retired before going 4+ against the Dodgers last week. Benes will go 5 innings at his best today. Rueter is ice cold as well and the total is a run off at least. I klove this play as it could get wil at Pac-Bell

does look a little low, i was curious since this is a 4 pm start in sf, do you know (a) if there are many shadows there at pac bell during the day and (b) how long they might last? i have a feeling this is partly why the number is 8.5 as horrible as benes is, those shadows can really f up the hitters and by the time they are gone, well it could be the 5th or so and in comes the bully- of course those shadows might not even come into play but i thought i would throw this one out there since you like this play a lot.....good luck

yes the shadows will be there but not in between the pitchers mound and home plate. Shadows between the plate and the mound should be there for an inning maybe two...nothing to avoid a wager here
