Every Conference MUST play a title game...
This gives teams a chance to slip and still make my "Bowl playoffs" The extra money for the game doesnt hurt anyone either....

Get 12 teams in each conference... Big 10 take one more...
Pac ten take 2 more (Boise Fresno..)

I dont care...

Place a ll the winners of the title game in a pool of 8 teams... 6 or 7 conference champs (depending on MAC and Mnt west rankings) maybe 1 wild card

1-8 2-7 ecetra till we have a winner.. play hem in the Big bowls (Rose Sugar, Cotton , tostitios orange)
All games will matter so tickets will sell..
Keep the lower bowls because its nice for a Rice SMU etc. to go to a bowl once in awhile and the should travel well and sell tickets...

Just please dont tell me that these kids need the study time or pull that student athlete thing
D 2 does it and these kids really do study....

Thats my solution...

Have at it boys...

I guess the only issue I'd have with this system is that it doesn't ensure the top 8 teams get to play for the championship.

We all know some conferences are tougher than others (just ask the SEC fans). I would rather just take the top 8 BCS teams from the final poll and go at it.

Why should a Michigan/Ohio State or a Florida/LSU be eliminated due to being in a strong conference and having to play each other?

In other sports, 2 top teams in a given conference are allowed to make the postseason and play each other. I think it should be allowed in football also.

For example, in this year's playoff (if there was one), Wake Forest would have no business being considered one of the top 8 teams in football. Likewise, not including LSU, Michigan and Wisconsin wouldn't be right either.

Unfortunately, I doubt we will see a football playoff system in our lifetimes, no matter what our age is.

why does the pac-10 need a conf title game?????

we play each other in the conf....after playing all other 9 teams over 3 months i think the team with the best record is the one who is the best team and tus the conf champ.......problem solved out here.....start working on the big-10 and their scheduling.
