I think Strasburg can mow down the Pirates because theyre quite a young group themselves. Theres definitely a reason this game was picked for him to make his debut. Hes not going to be facing veteran hitters, hes going to face a lot of young guys and a team that is pretty awful at hitting on the road.
That being said, I imagine he will undoubtedly be on a strict pitch count so I cant see him going more than 6 innings.
At -200 for the Nats side, theres no way I'd lay that kind of chalk knowing that I'll definitely be needing late game help from the Nats pen.
Karstens is tricky, and had a good outing last time out, but he is a guy who could get lit up and tagged for 5 runs in the 1st inning.
