I rarely play point-spread favorites, but I can't believe my eyes.

AUBURN -6.5 (-105 Heritage)
42 units to win 40
(risking nearly half my profits this season on this game)

Bruce Pearl has his Tigers playing incredible basketball. I think they are the most underrated and undervalued team in college hoops right now. 8:00 CST start in Auburn; students will be tanked up.

Texas A&M has so much potential but they are playing like a team without any cohesiveness. Most nights, on the road, the Aggies don't even show up.

I was expecting a line of 13 or 14 here, so I will pound Auburn laying 6.5.

I seriously cannot believe my eyes.

My highest plays this year have been 10 units. This is the type of play that I only make once every two or three years.

Best of luck to everybody on Wednesday.

Interesting as Aggies front court is awesome vs Auburn guards and quickness. Would not make this a game of year with monster advantage at guard Auburn and huge advantage Aggies frontcourt. Just my opinion

Part of A&M s troubles they had been missing key players. Last two games everyone been healthy and playing much better. Good luck.

Good luck dude! Fire Down!

I see that you follow the Ivy League pretty closely
and tossed out the names "Jadwin" and "Palestra"
like you know them as the Holy Shrines they certainly are!
How's that?

Anyway, BOL!

Hi Dewey-
Yup, I love the Ivy's. Payne Whitney Gym at Yale is my all-time favorite place to watch a college basketball game. (I refuse to call it the John Lee Amphitheater, or whatever they call it now.)

Seems like the vast majority of players are against my Auburn play tonight, and the line opened at -8 and it was quickly bet down to 6.5.
I really can't fault people for taking Texas A&M. On paper, they should be an an outstanding team. They have so much talent.
But, for me, the Aggies have been one of (if not THE) biggest disappointment(s) in college basketball this season. (I'm looking at you too, Florida) I know they are getting healthy, but this is a completely different team on the road in SEC play.
Most people still don't believe in Auburn, but the numbers (and my eyes) tell me otherwise.

The thing to look out for: will Texas A&M show up ready to play? If they do, and if it's a close ballgame at halftime, then I will be hedging some funds, if possible. (I'll post my 2h play- if any- at halftime)

This is the only play for me tonight.

The Texas A&M team that received all the preseason hype and played well in the non-conference has shown up at Auburn tonight, much to my wallet's dismay.
Probably won't even be able to hedge out of it at halftime.
Still time for a comeback, but not if A&M keeps shooting like this.

Go big or go home

Go big or go home

Doubling down on Auburn for the 2nd half.

All 47.83 positive units earned to win 43.48 units.
If this 2h hits, I'll actually make money on the night.

2h AUBURN -6 (-110 5dimes)

I'll either be even for 2018 or up over 91 units.

Auburn has a run in them. This game is not over!

I'll take it.
Very impressed with A&M tonight. And I (obviously) loved how Auburn fought back from 17 points down to tie the game in the final seconds.
So, I went 1-1 and finished +1.48 units on the game.

Back to moneyline underdogs. Playing "favorites" isn't for me. A gambler should stick to his strength.
