I'll try to keep this brief:
ND Def vs. Bama O = advantage ND
Bama Def vs. ND O = advantage Bama
This game comes down to players. Top to bottom, Bama has more higher caliber athletes. ND is gonna need a few breaks to keep this close. This could very well happen. But if the breaks don't happen the Irish D is gonna be on the field ALL NIGHT.
ND will have a helluva time tonight on offense. Bama's D is not as stout as year's past, but they're still the best D the Irish will see this year.
If the Irish D is on the field constantly, they are gonna get worn down by the best O-line in the country and Bama having 2 great RBs means fresh legs all night.
In short, ND's success is hinged on their offensive prowess, and I'm not betting on that.
