Well, Col St definatley didnt cover but I really think I capped it pretty well...Nobody can cap Walton going for a career night in front of his father, but hey I guess 10-11 shooting should be expected once in a while...Nelson dominated as expected, but our Col St. offenses turnovers were killing the team as it seemed they gave it up half the time they had it and the SDSU 1-2-3 punch of Walton, Slaughter and Heath went off, so sorry for the bad pick guys...today, lets hope to get it going:
RECORD: 0-2 -2.1 Units
Texas Tech +4 -- 1.5 Units
Texas Tech ML +153 -- 0.5 Units
I looked at this game since last night, and although the change from +5.5 to +4 scared me, I still believe the right side is Texas Tech here. As we all know Texas is missing two of their stars in Tucker and Alridge, but they have proven they have other guys that will step up. However I think Tech is on a bit of a tear right now beating K-State, A&M (who had just beaten Texas by the way) and Missouri. They are getting their game together and Knight is proving these boys can contend. I know it is hard to win at UT, but I think its a bit of a CRUCH game as they jsut played a close one at Oklahoma and then they have to travel to Kansas and beat the cream of the conference at KU...I think Texas will have their hands full here and I can see Tech squeeking by with a win. Their offense is amazing averaging 82.5 pts/game with 42.6% from the arc, and 76.4% from the line (almost 8% better than Texas)...Lets see how it goes, because we all know how tough it is to win at UT, but ill take my chances with this lights out Tech team
